By easing financial barriers, the Temple University Black Alumni Alliance Endowed Scholarship gives talented undergraduate Owls who might experience gaps or difficulty affording a Temple education, more room to 

• focus on their academics,  

Temple University will distribute an annual scholarship, with preference given to students who are majoring in Africology and African American studies, or are involved in the Black Student Union or other African American student organizations. 

As the endowment grows, so does its ability to provide greater support and ultimately reach more students.
