Temple Made Fest is a celebration of Temple University’s entrepreneurial spirit and the incredible talent within our Temple community. This vibrant street festival showcases businesses owned and operated by Temple alumni, current students and former students.
Vendor applications are now open! Interested businesses should apply by Monday, January 18, 2027. The fest will be hosted on Saturday, April 17, 2027.

Vendor Application Deadline: All applications for Temple Made Fest 2027 are due Monday, January 18, 2027. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance on Monday, February 1, 2027, after the review period.
Vendor applications will be reviewed by a committee based on criteria such as product quality, uniqueness, alignment with Temple University’s values and contribution to the overall festival experience. A strong social media and online presence is also a plus as we ask all vendors to help promote the Temple Made Fest in partnership with us.
We aim to represent a diverse range of vendor types, price points and product categories, maintaining a target number in each category to avoid oversaturation. Temple University reserves the right to decline any application to ensure a well-balanced and inclusive festival.
All accepted artists, vendors and groups will be responsible for paying a booth fee to reserve your spot. The booth fee includes a reserved 10'x10' uncovered spot, one six-foot table and table-top covering, and two chairs. Temple reserves the right to request reimbursement should any provided materials be removed from your designated area after the festival. Accepted vendors may bring a tent (weather permitted) and additional table(s), but all displays must fit within the assigned booth space.
Food and beverage vendors will incur fees required by department of health and city compliance. Based on this, vendors will not be charged a festival fee. If selected, all nonfood and beverage vendors will be charged a minimal fee during the vendor registration process.
Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting any sales tax and meeting any local license and permit requirements if applicable. Vendors should comply with all local, state and federal laws.
Due to department of health and safety guidelines, any non-food/beverage vendors are prohibited from distributing any food and beverage during Temple Made Festival. This includes candy, prepackaged or individually wrapped snacks or beverages (including water bottles).
Temple Made Fest is a family-friendly event. Vendors are expected to refrain from displaying or selling items with controversial or inappropriate language or imagery. Temple University reserves the right to request the removal of any items that do not align with this expectation.
Food and beverage vendors selected to participate in Temple Made Festival will receive guidance from our event food-safety consultant. The consultant will help vendors navigate temporary event permits, Department of Health requirements, compliance documentation, and other necessary food-service regulations to help ensure a safe and successful event experience.
Temple University has secured a blanket insurance policy for all Temple Made Fest vendors. Temple University does not assume responsibility for the safety of vendors’ property. While not required, vendors may still choose to purchase their own liability insurance to cover loss, damage or injury.

Temple requires that all individuals, organizations, departments and companies, both internal and external, obtain prior approval before producing any product(s) that will display the university’s trademarks, regardless of the method of distribution. If approved to participate, the vendor will be put in contact with Temple’s Business Services for product review and approval.
Vendors are responsible for setting up and displaying their materials within a reserved 10'x10' uncovered space. All setups must be neat and maintain a professional appearance. The booth fee includes one reserved 10'x10' uncovered spot, a six-foot table with a table covering and two chairs. Vendors who wish to bring a tent are required to secure it with appropriate weights to ensure stability in windy or breezy conditions.
A 100% refund is available up to two weeks prior to Temple Made Fest if a vendor needs to cancel. Vendors may not sell or give their space to another vendor; we will fill spaces from the waitlist if possible. All cancellations must be received in writing, and “no shows” without any communication will impact future acceptance.
Temple Made Fest will be held rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel the festival in case of severe or dangerous weather, which might include heavy all-day rain, sustained high winds or lightning. Any weather-related decisions will be made 48 hours before the festival. There are no rain dates. If the festival is cancelled due to severe/dangerous weather, a 100% refund of fees will be issued. We expect vendors who apply to be prepared and able to participate in outdoor weather conditions including rain.
Spaces are assigned by Temple University to create a balanced and interesting show for customers. We do not accept specific space or adjacency (“can you put me next to so-and-so”) requests unless you have a truly extenuating circumstance (e.g., a medical condition that requires you to be close to restrooms).
Yes, electricity will be available, upon request.
Yes, only 10'x10' pop-up tents are allowed and must be secured with weights.

Absolutely! All vendors will receive detailed logistical information including vendor space assignments, how and where to load in, where to park, etc. about a week prior to the festival, allowing sufficient time to prepare for your participation.
Vendors must be personally present representing their business unless there is an extenuating circumstance and prior approval given. Unless otherwise noted, another event on the same day is not considered an extenuating circumstance.
