Igniting Transformational Change

This extraordinary community of donors is dedicated to shaping lives, advancing education and inspiring future generations. We celebrate their generosity and enduring connection to Temple’s mission.

Households are automatically welcomed into this prestigious society when they make these investments in Temple:

  • Leadership Annual: $1,000 or more in a fiscal year; $250 for students and recent graduates.
  • Loyalty: $1,000 or more per year for three+ consecutive years.
  • Legacy: includes Temple in estate plans.

Thank you for your great support. Your generosity has not only lifted financial burdens but has become an encouragement for me and my family. How has Conwell Circle changed?

Prior to January 2025, recognition for Temple’s donors was divided into four distinct giving societies. These programs have sunset.

Conwell Circle has been reimagined to unify our community into one recognition society of dedicated donors committed to realizing our mission and to amplify the impact of philanthropy at Temple University.

What’s the significance of the Conwell Circle name?

Temple University was founded in 1884 by Russell H. Conwell, who sought to democratize and widen the reach of higher education. Today Conwell Circle upholds our founder’s original mission, ensuring Temple continues to provide an affordable and accessible education.

My employer matches my gift. Am I recognized for sparking their contribution?

Temple changed my life. The things I learned at Temple have allowed me to create successful healthcare companies, such as ABA Centers of America, that help people in need and add great value to the community. It’s very important to me that I give back to Temple so that other young people can get the education and opportunities that I had; the education and opportunities that a Temple education provides.”
