In an effort to reduce the burden on smart and talented undergraduate students who otherwise might experience gaps or difficulty affording a Temple education, the Temple University Black Alumni Alliance Scholarship Fund helps to provide financial resources for students in need.

Working with Temple University, TUBAA will distribute an annual scholarship, with preference given to students who are majoring in Africology or African American studies, or are involved in the Black Student Union or other African American student organizations.

In line with TUBAA’s mission of supporting Black students at Temple University and giving back to the surrounding community as a whole, one $1,000 scholarship will be awarded each year to a deserving student.
