Homecoming

A full week of celebrations, traditions, performances and Temple pride.

From campus traditions to new ways to connect, Homecoming & Family Weekend 2026 brought Owls together for a week full of cherry and white pride from Monday, Oct. 5, to Sunday, Oct. 11, 2026. The weekend’s signature moments included our biggest tailgate of the year and a Homecoming football matchup against UConn, bringing Owls together to celebrate Temple pride and the experiences that make Homecoming so special.

The celebration offered something for every Owl, including the annual Tyler Art Market, the Crafts & Drafts happy hour featuring alumni-owned breweries, the Boyer Mosaic Concert, the Owls at Work #TempleMade faculty and staff reception and the Bell Tower pep rally filled with music, games and performances from the Diamond Marching Band.

Whether you returned to campus to catch up with old friends, discover something new or cheer on the cherry and white, thank you for being part of this beloved Temple tradition. Here’s to the friendships, memories and Owl pride that bring us together year after year.

We’ll see you at Homecoming & Family Weekend 2027!

Support Temple Libraries

Homecoming & Family Weekend may be behind us, but the Temple connections and memories we celebrated continue to shape the university experience for generations of Owls. Temple Libraries are at the heart of that experience, giving students the tools and space to ask questions, pursue new ideas and explore what’s possible. As we reflect on what makes Temple special, consider making a gift to help today’s students access the resources, technology and opportunities they need to thrive. Your support helps keep discovery moving forward long after Homecoming ends.

Give today and help make the next discovery possible.
