Higher education is expensive! The escalating costs of higher education present significant obstacles, especially for students from marginalized, low-income and minority communities. Rooted in systemic issues like inequality and disparities in secondary education access, these barriers perpetuate cycles of inequity in educational opportunities. In this workshop, we’ll spotlight the efforts of institutions like Temple in championing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) by actively addressing these challenges. Join us as we discuss innovative strategies and collaborative initiatives to foster greater educational access and equity for all students, irrespective of their socioeconomic backgrounds.
